Session 2
In our second session, students worked to build their wearable artworks intended to express aspects of their external identities. Students used matierals such as fabric, cardboard, wire, and acetate to create structures to be worn during a collaborative public performance piece on March 6.
Students practiced their skills in armature building, papier-mache application, wire manipulation, and sewing techniques to build these unqiue and expressive sculptures.
Students also began work on their video pieces which are intended to express aspects of their internal identities.
