Future(s) Session 1: Success!

Session One of Investigation Now Fall 2016 was a BLAST.

Last night, we launched this season's program with a look into the future of Richmond. We challenged our city, looked at our home through a critical lens, and translated our utopian and dystopian future(s) through creative expression. We asked ourselves, "What will Richmond look like in 500 years?"

Students answered with fierce understanding of what they love and loathe about their city. They envisioned a RVA where bikes replaced cars, they challenged the idea of coal-dumping in the James, and imagined a future where basketball courts are suspended between high-rise buildings in downtown (sign us up!).

Thank you to all of our amazing new friends and participants (and their parents for letting us spend time with their awesome kids). We can't wait to see you next Friday!
