Communication Station

Last night our investigators explored the future(s) of communication. We questioned the influence of technology on language and we challenged future perceptions of human connection. We asked, "Will we no longer connect/speak to one another face to face? Or will we have to rely on technology to bridge the gap between us?"

We scoured our imaginations to crack the code on future communication through a storytelling activity using and making glitch art and gifs. Investigators created a series of non-verbal gifs that narrated a glitched story....And it was AWESOME.

After getting our gif on, we all participated in First Friday, ate snacks, and supported local artists in RVA.

Thank you to the parents who tagged along last night and a big thanks to the rest of the parents as well. We are so grateful for you and your amazing kids!
